I’m from the same part of Massachusetts that Andy Card is from and he’s our favorite local tool. Apparently Bush agrees:
An apparently hungry Bush summoned Card to the session and said: “You’re the Chief of Staff. You think you’re up to getting some cheeseburgers.” Card all but ran out of the room…
Bush and Rove are going to have to do a hell of a lot more than fire Andy Card in order to take the heat off their band of thieves and incompetents. One thing will change though: longer waits for cheeseburgers in the Situation Room.
