WorldNetDaily: Karl Rove is Gay - Updated!
November 9th, 2006 by sirkowskiThe not-so-secret secret that Ken Mehlman is gay was broken yesterday when Bill Maher revealed on Larry King Live that - big surprise - Ken Mehlman is gay (video). Tackling the subject of gay closeted Republicans, the WorldNetDaily ponders where the ‘problem’ might come from.
Some in Washington have charged the White House and Congress are run by a “Gay Republican Mafia.”
Everyone knows that the first chapter of the Protocols of the Elders of XXXion (aka the gay Jews agenda) is the infiltration of the Republican party by heterosexualy manly-man looking sodomites. But at the end of the article, WorldNetDaily makes a shocking accusation:
Deputy White House chief of staff Karl Rove’s adopted father, who died in 2004, was a closet “gay” who left his mother when Rove was a senior in high school. But Rove still supports a ban on “gay” marriage. “The ideal is that marriage ought to be and should be a union of a man and a woman,” he has said.
He and his wife, Darby, have one child.
WorldNetDaily seems to be insinuating that Karl Rove opposes gay marriage, despite the homosexuality of his father, which is suspect for any partisan of family values (Thou shall honor thy father). They then awkwardly refer to Rove’s marriage and his only child, suggesting a cover for his homosexuality. Only one child, no need to procreate more than he needs to set his story straight.
As this obviously shows, no Republicans will be safe from this wingnut witchhunt.
homosexual GOP staff and pro-‘gay’ policies in the party are undermining the wholesome values Republicans say they support.”
In 2004, the pro-family group PFOX (Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays) was outraged when Sen. Allen refused to sign their pledge supporting tolerance for former homosexuals, then went ahead and broke a promise to another pro-family group by backing a pro-“gay” federal “Hate Crimes” bill. Allen also signed a pro-homosexual “nondiscrimination” pledge for his Senate office.
“George Allen’s lukewarm support for Virginia’s marriage amendment cost him his Senate seat,” LaBarbera said. “Now we are left to wonder: did the stealth influence of gay Republican staffers move him toward this course that would ultimately turn the Senate over to the Democrats?”
In other words, in which direction does Allen’s penis lean?

I am sure the downfall of the Repugs will be directed towards the gay republicans “not working hard enough for the party.”

Oh, so now a man is homosexual if he has a wife but only one child. What does that make Jim McGreevey, who married twice, and had two children?
Isn’t our esteemed host a married man with only one child?

It’s nice to know there’s no stereotyping going on here.

The hypocrisy of the ani-gay crowd is hysterical! Especially concidering… they are gay….

Of course Rove is gay. So is Jr. Why else would Jr be sent to anti-gay camp in 1976? Fast forward you have all kinds of homos in the WH and a gay prostitute “visiting” over 200 times with stay-overs! Who did he service? One of them or maybe all of them. These are some twisted sick folks but have no one to blame but themselves. Self hatred is not a pretty sight.

see wayne madsen report of october 16
“There is much talk in Washington about who appears on a mysterious “list” of closeted gay Republicans. This editor believes it is beyond time to relate a story about information received about Rove in 2002 from a former senior editor for the right-wing Washington Times publication consortium. During one late evening at the National Press Club, the editor stormed in clearly upset. He told me, “goddamit, Rove is b***f****** [a well-known GOP lobbyist and policymaker in DC].” I asked him if he was sure. He replied, “Yes, I can’t do anything with this story [a reference to his right-wing publisher] but you can have it if you want.” I’ve had the story since 2002 and now it is time to release it. The GOP is rife with closeted individuals whose secret preferences have clouded and continue to cloud their judgment. We have seen this clearly in the cases of Mark Foley, Jim Kolbe (prior to his coming out), Charlie Crist, and other GOP officials, including congressional staffers and officials of the Republican National Committee.”

Sharon and Dana seem uncomfortable. I feel a malaise.
And do not shoot the messenger. It’s the conservative WorldNetDaily that made these insinuations, not me.

Sharon and Dana seem uncomfortable. I feel a malaise.
Not uncomfortable at all. And it’s ok that you’re suffering so much.
November 10th, 2006 at 3:42 pm
Oops, hit the button too soon. That should read “It’s ok that you’re suffering so much. You could win the next election.”
November 10th, 2006 at 3:51 pm
I’m suffering?
You seem to be mistaken. I said I feel a malaise, I do not suffer from it. I see a malaise if you prefer.
This malaise comes from a denial about the Pink Mafia infiltration of the conservative movement.

There’s someone who denies there are gay Republicans? I guess they never heard of the Log Cabin Republicans.
November 10th, 2006 at 5:34 pm
I didn’t know that Rove and Mehlman were members of the Log Cabin Republicans! Good for them!
November 10th, 2006 at 6:31 pm
Um, how about Pastor Ted, the meth-snortin’, massage-getting’, deceivin’, lyin’, sexually immoralin’, wingnuttin’ evanglicalical from Colorado Springs? He’s got five kids, and it didn’t keep him from chasin’ the snake with Mike Jones.
November 10th, 2006 at 7:13 pm
obviously the number of children one has bears no relation to ones sexual orientation. But just look at Karl Rove and Denny Hastert, you can see the gay right in their face, if you know what to look for.

Karl Rove: Known in Gay Circles as ‘Miss Piggy’
November 10th, 2006 at 7:44 pm
Is it possible to somehow avoid using the terms ‘Rove’ and ‘procreation’ in the same thought next time? Thank you.

Has Bush ever met with the LCR?
Awesome!
November 10th, 2006 at 9:47 pm
Please don’t spend a lot of time on gwb and his sexual preferences. The vital issue is WAR CRIMES. Maybe he’ll have a woody on the gallows????
November 11th, 2006 at 8:01 am
Speaking as a lifelong Democrat and an open, proud and self-affirming gay man: I just love it when these traitorous f**ks self-destruct. Sic semper tyrannis!
November 11th, 2006 at 7:50 pm
Gay bashers!! Let the gays be.
November 11th, 2006 at 8:59 pm
Who said Rove and Mehlman were part of the Log Cabin Republicans? The argument was that there were no gay Republicans.
[editor’s note: None of what Sharon claims appears in this post.]
November 12th, 2006 at 1:06 am
First, no one ever said Rove and Mehlman were part of the LCR. I don’t know where the fuck you got that.
Second, it’s very strange to you accuse me of saying there are no gay Republicans, when I’m posting an article from a conservative journal, about gay Republicans.
In any case, you’re shooting the messenger again. You and Prom seem to be uncomfortable with the outing of Pink Capos by conservative elements. I’m only reporting the facts.
