Bush Makes Ultimate Sacrifice for Iraq
May 13th, 2008 by gordo
Does anyone really believe that Bush quit golf out of respect for the troops? Doesn’t it seem more likely that Karl Rove told him that he was hurting himself politically with displays like the one in this video?
Bush says that he quit golf in 2003, out of respect for the families of soldiers killed in Iraq:
“I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal,” he said in an interview for Internet hub Yahoo! and Politico magazine. “I don’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander-in-chief playing golf,” he said. “I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them.”
If Bush is telling the truth about the reason he stopped playing golf, why didn’t he stop when we invaded Afghanistan?

Well he was right about it sending the wrong signals, but of course you’ve managed to turn that against him as well.
Too bad Clinton didn’t quit scheduling blow jobs in the oval office while Bosnia was going on, the U.S.S.Cole was being attacked, bin Laden was building his forces and Al Qaeda operatives were strolling into the country for flying lessons and honing their box cutter skills in neighborhood pizza joints…

So this is his sacrifice…
Wretched ingrate.

Still can’t figure out how Clinton go off, can you? Thought you had him dead to rights? Well your side fucked it up by not looking in the mirror first. He beat you and forced the resignation of a number of the Republican leadership in the process, who just happened to be guilty of sexual philandering in office themselves. About time you got over it. Regardless of where his wife’s political career goes, he keeps his pension and not a thing you can do about it except to continue to whine.

What was Bush doing before 9/11? Taking more fucking vacations than Ronald Reagan. Quit being a dumbass.
